After facing federal charges related to a securities violation, Corey served his sentence and emerged with a renewed purpose — not to hide his story, but to use it to inspire and empower others seeking redemption.

Corey has guided hundreds of clients, including former attorneys and politicians, through the Connecticut Board of Pardons and Paroles with empathy, precision, and a track record of success.

Education, Experience, and Empathy
Corey holds a law degree from UCONN (2005), an LLM in Human Rights and Social Justice (2021), and an MBA (2023). He has worked at some of the most prestigious law firms in Connecticut and Washington, D.C., served on the Hartford City Council, and even ran for Secretary of the State in Connecticut. His early legal work included time at a nonprofit law firm in New York City, where he fought for criminal justice reform.
He also served his country with pride in the Connecticut Air National Guard, stationed in Saudi Arabia on September 11, 2001.
This wide-ranging experience gives him an unmatched understanding of both the legal system and the human struggles behind every criminal record.
